The Business Analyst will work with Investment Management Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders to formulate and define business and/or systems scope, requirements and objectives based on a good understanding of applicable industry requirements. Lead requirements definition sessions ensuring that the team articulates requirements and specifications. Drive dialogue to a detailed level to allow capture of actionable requirements. Use understanding of business objectives, technical environment, and project timeline and scope to analyze needs; capture them in documentation of business and system requirements.
**responsibilities**:
- Translate business data requirements into Calypso configurations and document the end-to-end solution.
- Work with Swift Interface for Cash Management and matching manager for incoming messages
- Prepare and validate settlement instructions, Legal Entity Static data for various counterparty and products
- Facilitate business requirements sessions to understand all settlement and Collateral activity for all Derivative products and associated Calypso functionality.
- Write, document, and execute test cases for QA and UAT.
- Interact with various technology teams, business stakeholders and provide prompt responses and adequate communication.
- Create business process models, context diagrams and use case models
**Skills**:
- Minimum of 4 years direct Calypso experience (Ideally V14 and above), including configuration of Cash management, Collateral Management and Clearing
- Calypso specific Swift settlement implementation for outgoing and incoming messages
- Ability to interact with different streams to gather business requirement to
- generate Calypso reports to translate into end system reports
- Ability to book deals in Calypso and execute various life cycle events
- Ability to validate business scenario and demonstrate it in Calypso system for back office and collateral system
- Knowledge of derivatives products and their life cycle event
- Working experience with Bilateral/Triparty Collateral system
- Experienced in agile, iterative project techniques including Scrum; experience with Jira is required
- Demonstrated ability to partner with investment personnel to elicit and advance requirements
- The ability to self-manage, plan, and prioritize your work effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively using verbal and written methods
- Proficient with standard documentation tools (Visio, Excel, Word)
