**Job Description**:
**OVERVIEW**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Clip and edit selected segments of CNBC news recordings and feed video clips to affiliate channels
- Edit video recordings of Chinese language news bulletin daily for client, China Central Television (CCTV)
- Patch live TV program segments for digital and social media platforms, as well as for distribution licensing purposes
- Clip long-form feature programs for third-party subtitling
- Edit videos for on-air promotions as required
- Perform censorship editing for selected NBCUniversal feature programs from the US as required
- Ensure videos adhere to CNBC’s broadcast standards and are of highest quality for publishing across all platforms
- Other duties and tasks incidental to video-editing as assigned on ad-hoc basis

**Qualifications**:
**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS**
- 2 years + experience in non-linear video editing for live TV broadcast
- Prior experience in post-production environment would be advantageous
- Knowledge of basic Grass Valley Edius editing system and Avid i-News Newsroom Computer system would be advantageous
- Work independently with minimum supervision, as well as cooperatively in a team
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure to deliver tasks under tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Meticulous and with an eye for detail
- Ability to partner with colleagues at all levels and functions leveraging on positive interpersonal and effective communication skills
- A flexible attitude to working shift hours, on public holidays and/or weekends, as required
- Proficient in Chinese language is a plus
