**Objectives of the position**:
The Wiring Harness Operations Manager will work closely with engineering, contracts, purchasing, program management and business development to continually improve and grow the harness business. This position is accountable for the safety, environmental, quality, productivity, talent, and operation cost management. This position will deliver on time, on budget, zero defect product to our customers

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, review drawings and technical data packages for manufacturability and provide feedback to the customer teams for improvement.
- Deliver products on time, on budget and at zero defects as well as leading the corrective action process if a defect occurs.
- Work with planning, program management and purchasing to minimize disruptions to production.
- Manage workload assignments based on resource skill set, capabilities, and business need and projecting manpower/skillset needs as the business grows.
- Develop/optimize business practices, processes, and procedures to fulfil customer's requirements and expectations.
- Work with quality department to maintain documentation so that all quality standards/requirements are met for annual/periodic quality audits.
- Ensuring the safety of the employees within the warehouse and manufacturing area.
- Ad hoc assignments assigned by Manager.

**Skills & Qualification**:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or manufacturing.
- Knowledge and experience in setting up low volume manufacturing and quality processes for an industrial wiring harness business.
- Developing and optimizing work instructions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Strong leadership experience with a proven track record mentoring and growing a team.
- Excellent customer relationship experience.
- Production control and inventory management.
