**OVERVIEW**

The role of FI TS Sales Support, based in Singapore, will provide the employee with the opportunity to be part of the growth and development of our FI Transaction Services (TS) business in the region.

You will be working in a dynamic and diverse team of dedicated FI Sector professionals from various backgrounds and experiences. The FI team within Wholesale Banking in Singapore consists of the following sub-sector teams: (i) FI Transaction Services, (ii) FI Lending, (iii) FI Advisory, and (iv) FI Relationship Management.

You will play an important role in providing operational and administrative support to the FI PCM franchise, enabling the team to focus efficiently on business origination efforts in APAC.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

You will be in contact with many different colleagues from in
- and outside the FI TS team to get things done. This is one of the best junior roles to learn about the FI Transaction Services business in all of its aspects, and will offer you plenty of development opportunities ranging from sharpening your organizational skills and stakeholder management capabilities, to developing into a strong independent communicator. You will also have a lot of international interactions with the PCM teams in Europe and the FI colleagues in the wider ING network.
- Be responsible for the Payments' inquiries escalations and incidents communication involving FI clients from the wider APAC region
- Prepare the Quarterly Service reviews and perform volume monitoring
- Support the PCM accounts opening and closing process
- Responsible for the Contracts/Agreements/Formats review, maintenance, and repapering (when required) and cooperate closely with the relevant Legal, Risk and Product Management teams
- Organise end-to-end the FI TS client engagement events and strategy days
- Increase FI TS visibility in the market by being involved in marketing events and publication initiatives
- Monitor the client profitability and the realization of the TS team’s targets: monthly analysis on income / P&L reports. Liaise with Finance for any reporting requirements (when required)
- Update the Governance manual in collaboration with the TS teams globally
- Support the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) manual and testing
- Prepare the On-site due diligence and calls between the respective compliance teams for each client
- Support the CDD process for the relevant clients by providing the volume and jurisdictions to the concerned CDD analyst for both the PCM and TFS products
- Support the risk assessment for overseas branches & subsidiaries onboarding/CDD review
- Support regular account audit and regulatory reporting requests by auditors

**KEY COMPETENCIES**
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience within a financial institution
- Excellent written and spoken English. Mandarin intermediate level preferred
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills - comfortable with direct client communication
- Detailed oriented, good numerical and data skills and ability to connect the dots
- Excel with MS office tools: particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Good team player and able to liaise confidently with people at all levels
- Ability to work to independently and thrive well in a dynamic environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Self-driven with a strong sense of proactiveness
