Wifi Technician

Our client is a leading Wifi Consultancy who supports and consults households and businesses on wifi setup and troubleshooting. Due to expansion, they are recruitment an additional headcount to support the growth in clientele.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test WiFi routers, access points, and network equipment.
- Conduct on-site and remote WiFi deployments for residential and business clients.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, interference, and performance bottlenecks.
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams regarding WiFi-related problems.
- Monitor network performance and suggest improvements for optimal speed and stability.
- Ensure network security compliance, including setting up firewalls and encryption.
- Work with the IT and customer service teams to address network issues.
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, installations, and troubleshooting processes.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in IT, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience in WiFi installation, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) and WiFi standards (802.11ac, 802.11ax).
- Knowledge of network security (firewalls, VPNs, WPA2/WPA3 encryption).
- Experience with network diagnostic tools (Wireshark, NetSpot, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills to explain technical issues in simple terms.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Customer-focused with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
