Job Roles

You are the core team of Delta Research Center’s Smart Manufacturing Initiative for development and integration of software for embedded devices for next generation of manufacturing facilities testbed. You will integrate, test and validate multiple state-of-the-art research outputs in this testbed manufacturing line. The state-of-the-art testbed will transform the future of manufacturing to achieve efficiency, flexibility and affordability

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, test and delivery of embedded software for use cases in Smart Manufacturing
- Requirement analysis, specifications, design review, implementation and unit test
- Proactively communicate with business unit to articulate the relationship between ICT strategy and business strategy

**Job Requirements**
- Degree/Masters in Computer Science, Electronic, Information Technology or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in software development
- Working knowledge of Linux Architecture, Linux Boot process, Kernel and BSP is required.
- Experience in high level languages such as Java is a plus
- Experience in Python scripting is preferred for prototyping
- Have good knowledge of communication protocols (wired/wireless/field buses)
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
