**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible to provide overall direction and guidance for day-to-day accounts payable processes (e.g. verification and processing of invoices, maintain accounts payable aging records to ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors, review of month end closing activities and discrepancies are identified and timely resolved)
- Responsible to guide staff on accounts payable procedures to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures before processing and to provide guidance on transaction problems which require resolutions.
- Responsible to prepare periodic management reports (e.g. AP aging, statistical payment reports) for various internal departments
- Perform reconciliation for all payment methods, ensuring accuracy of records.
- Monitor open AP and ensure that these are processes within the credit period.
- Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of vendor master records
- Responsible for all accounts payable monthly schedules; ensure it is accurately prepared and submitted within required deadlines.
- Responsible for preparation and submission of statutory/management reports within required deadlines and maintain various accounts payable information, files, and records to provide an up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accountancy or other equivalent professional qualifications.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships to motivate, lead and supervise team
- Excellent time management skills to monitor and meet statutory and reporting deadlines
- Good understanding of SB FRS.
- Knowledge of operating WORKDAY ERP system will be an added advantage.
