
Junior HR Assistant

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Onboarding and Orientation**:Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have all the necessary paperwork completed, conducting orientation sessions, and introducing them to restaurant policies and procedures.
- **Employee Records Management**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, certifications, and training documentation.
- **Timekeeping and Attendance**:Assist in managing the timekeeping system to ensure accurate records of employee work hours, breaks, and attendance. Address any attendance-related issues with the HR team and management.
- **Employee Benefits and Payroll Assistance**:Provide support in administering employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, meal discounts, and staff meal allowances. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll.
- **Employee Relations**:Foster positive employee relations by addressing general inquiries, resolving minor conflicts, and forwarding complex issues to the HR Manager or higher-level HR personnel when necessary.
- **Training and Development Support**:Assist in organizing training sessions for restaurant staff, ensuring they receive appropriate skills development and safety training. Maintain training records and track employee progress.
- **Compliance and Safety**:Ensure compliance with employment laws, health and safety regulations, and restaurant-specific policies. Assist in conducting safety training and maintaining safety-related documentation.
- **HR Reporting**:Generate basic HR reports and maintain HR-related data for the restaurant. Provide regular updates to the HR Manager regarding HR metrics.
- **Employee Engagement Activities**:Help organize employee engagement initiatives and events, such as team-building activities, recognition programs, and staff appreciation events.
