In addition, we run a chain of dental clinics and a family medicine clinic.

DESIGNATION : Accounts Associate (6 months contract)

RESPONSIBILITIES

NTUC Health is one of the largest community health and eldercare providers in Singapore. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented General Ledger Accounts Associate to join our finance team.

**General Ledger Management**
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger on a monthly basis
- Responsible for month-end and year-end accounts closing
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

**Account Reconciliation**
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Monitor and analyze account balances to identify and rectify issues
- Ensure the accuracy of the balance sheet
- Prepare bank reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
- Cash projections and cashflow management

**Compliance and Regulations**
- Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Assist in GST computation and compliance activities

**Process Improvement**
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
- Recommend and implement best practices for financial record-keeping.

**Audit Support**

Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree or Diploma in Accountancy
- Proven experience as a General Ledger Accountant or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in SAP
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
