Singapore UL Solutions Full time

Operates and maintains complex test equipment appropriately to measure and test customer samples.
- Performs or arrange complex maintenance on designated test equipment and laboratory area. May perform / arrange complex calibration of test equipment.
- Management of samples from receiving, internal distribution through lab testing to dispatch dispositioning using database software and basic Microsoft programs such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Checking samples against sample requirement and raising any issues to Project team.
- Ensure samples are managed within quality process and in compliance with according the UL Quality and accreditation process requirements.
- Working with teams to ensure samples are ready and available for test start internal customers and stored in the correct location.
- Support laboratory, engineering and shipping/receiving teams.
- May also be responsible for maintenance of the warehouse.
- Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
- Assist and trains staff as directed.
- May assist leadership in the development of training as necessary.
- May develop or assist in the creation of reports and metrics as necessary.
- Maintain an organized, safe, clean and productive work area.
- Conducts periodic inventories of sample storage areas.
- Reports any lost, missing or damaged samples and assists in the research and resolution.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Coordinate and plan EMC Testing.
- Other duties as assigned.
- University Degree in Engineering (in related field of work) with **at least 2 to 4 years' work experience.**:

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high quality and exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with Engineering and other Laboratory Personnel to complete projects in a timely manner with high quality.
- Ability to incorporate automation into day-to-day testing.
- **Demonstrated ability to analyze special testing needs, equipment handling and calibration.**:

- Effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative.
- Able to work in a team-oriented environment and work independently.
