**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented **Finance Clerk**to support our daily money-changing operations. The role involves handling cash, maintaining records, preparing reports, and ensuring full compliance with MAS regulations, including AML/CFT and CBNI reporting requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Cash Handling & Daily Transactions**
- Record daily currency exchange transactions
- Count, reconcile, and balance cash at the end of the day
- Manage petty cash and bank deposits
- **Financial Records & Systems**
- Maintain accurate transaction records and update systems
- Track income, expenses, and commissions from money-changing activities
- **Compliance & Reporting**
- Ensure all activities comply with MAS regulations
- Support AML/CFT procedures by maintaining customer records and reporting suspicious transactions
- Handle CBNI declarations and ensure proper documentation for cross-border cash transactions
- Assist with preparation of reports for audits and regulatory checks
- **Reporting & Documentation**
- Help prepare financial and compliance reports
- Organize records for easy access during audits and reviews
- **Customer & Admin Support**
- Respond to customer queries about payments or transactions
- Communicate with banks, vendors, and auditors
- Maintain proper filing of financial and compliance documents
**Key Skills**:
- Strong attention to detail, especially in handling cash
- Familiar with AML/CFT policies and CBNI reporting requirements
- Good understanding of MAS compliance guidelines
- Able to manage tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Excel and basic accounting software
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in finance or admin (experience in a money-changing business is an advantage)
- Knowledge of AML/CFT and MAS compliance regulations
- Comfortable working with cash in a fast-paced environment
