Asst Marine Fleet Management Executive

**Responsibilities**:

- Handling of the fleet requisitions, sourcing and making the necessary arrangement for delivery to the vessels
- Monitoring and controlling of the vessels consumables to prevent unnecessary wastage
- Monitoring of the cargo hoses registry and lifting gears registry to ensure all equipment is certified and valid for safe usage on board and PPE of all shipboard personnel
- Monitoring of the vessels LSA, FFA and gas detectors
- Appointed safety committee member to carry out tool-box meetings for all vessels
- Monitoring of the vessels’ medical supplies as per statutory requirements
- Assisting in monitoring of the crew’s welfare (such as leave, salary, medical, certification matters etc)
- Assisting in preparation and attending of the vessel repairs and dry dockings
- Providing induction training/orientation to all newly join ship crews
- Providing general support to the vessel’s deck and engine department
- Any other fleet management related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the management

**Requirements**:

- Some relevant working experience in similar capacity
- A team player and ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision
- Must be contactable 24/7 and be available to board the vessels as and when require
- Proficient with computer software
- Possess Class 3 driving license
- Strong sense of integrity, professionalism and good communication skills
