Team Overview: *
Preqin is looking to hire a Strategy Senior Associate to join the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Strategy team within the wider global Strategy team. The team consists of former investment bankers, entrepreneurs, and top-tier management consultants and reports directly into the CEO.

The APAC Strategy team’s responsibilities include:

- Developing and communicating long-term (3Y) and near-term (1Y) company strategy
- Running internal priority consulting projects and key initiatives
- Monitoring and reporting progress of the strategy to the Executive team, Board and wider company

Key Responsibilities*
- Work closely with the Head of Strategy (APAC) and the regional leadership team to identify and initiate high priority strategic initiatives across the APAC region
- Work with functional leadership teams and local teams to drive the implementation of priority initiatives in a cross-functional environment
- Support in preparing Executive team, Board and company-wide communications

Qualifications**:Key Requirements for this Role**:

- 3+ years’ experience in Consulting, Internal Strategy (private and public sector) or Financial Services
- Distinctive problem-solving abilities, including, having an analytical mindset - able to structure and breakdown complex questions; being able to understand business concepts and solve problems creatively; and being comfortable with quantitative analysis (excel modelling)
- Leader mindset - Complete ownership of entire workstreams, attention to detail, and ability to lead multiple stakeholders (internal and external)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (able to create high quality presentations)
- Interest in Financial Services, in particular Alternative Assets
