**JOB SUMMARY**:
This role interacts with WSI vendors, 3PL suppliers, carriers and internal WSI/WSGO Sourcing teams.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Moving ocean freight and coordination with shipping lines and NVOCC
- Analysis and optimization of international transportation network, optimum cbm utilization and awareness of business systems uses/interfaces.
- Reduce cost-per-cbm and service opportunities through leveraging WSI Carrier network and Consolidation facilities
- Strong working knowledge of Asia, Europe and Subcon to US origin import process: Cargo, Data, Documentation flows.
- Business-management report development using BI tools.
- Business process SOP documentation.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure overall operational success
- Act as key interface between WSO and External customers provide day-to-day logistics support.Other duties as assigned.

**WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH**

You will work with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. Internally, this role will partner closely with WSO teams, such as Global Inventory team, Supply Chain team, etc. Externally, this role will require close partnership with WSI’s Logistics partners and suppliers.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 4 years Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Transportation/Logistics
- 5+ years of progression in Ocean freight management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and drive change based on findings.
- Good Leadership skills
- Proven track record of managing multiple highly complex projects and change management
- General knowledge of supply chain principles, project management and Six Sigma beneficial
- Ability to analyze current processes and drive change based on findings
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of leadership and with external providers
- Knowledge of MS Projects, GTNexus, QlikView, EDI. Lean, Six Sigma and Visio is preferred.
- Knowledge of Customs/Trade compliance would be a plus.
