**Position**:

- One full-time role
- Based in Singapore or Hong Kong
- Require eligibility to live and work in Singapore or Hong Kong without the need of sponsorship for an employment visa
- May require travel in the region and beyond

**Job responsibilities**:

- Excellent opportunity for professionals from investment banking/financial advisory that are passionate about technology and entrepreneurship to join this in-house role of a fast-growing foodtech and biotech company
- Play a key role in supporting Avant leadership to develop strategies and evaluate new opportunities in the corporate development pipeline, including fundraising, M&A opportunities and other corporate finance activities
- Support in preparation of budget, forecast and business plan
- Perform financial and business analysis and conduct due diligence for potential M&A initiatives
- Conduct Fundraising tasks independently under the supervision of the Head of Finance & Capital Markets including but not limited to: (i) prepare investment deck and teaser; (ii) prepare valuation analysis, financial projection models and sensitivity studies; (iii) Industry and market research and analysis; (iv) provide support and facilitate investor due diligence; (v) assist in review of transaction documents; (vi) support investor roadshow process; (v) input and upkeep of investor data base using CRM tools such as salesforce.
- Support in investor relations tasks, i.e.: organize and formulate materials and presentations for shareholder and board meetings, respond to investor communications and requests for information
- Manage reporting tasks, including monthly closing, quarterly report, annual audit, tax report etc.
- Manage corporate matters, including the execution of transaction documents, share certificates, cap table etc.
- Support other relevant ad hoc tasks as necessary

**Qualifications and requirements**:

- 3 to 5 years of full-time working experiences (excluding internships) from corporate finance/M&A advisory/VC/PE with solid foundation in execution of entire venture/private investment deal process.
- Solid skill set and deal experiences in investment deck and teaser preparation, valuation analysis (trading & transaction comparable multiples, DCF, etc.), financial projection model, industry and market research and analysis, due diligence (business, legal and financial), review of transaction documents.
- Solid financial modelling skills set gained from investment banks or big-four advisory
- Superior integrity and professionalism

- Can-do attitude, great team player, goal-getter, fast learner and determination are key attributes required
- Able to perform well in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of responsibility to deliver results in a competent and timely manner, willing to go the extra mile and outside the comfort zone

- Proficiency in oral and written English and Chinese/Mandarin is a must.
- Experience and foundation in legal, compliance and/or company secretarial tasks a plus
- CPA, CFA or other professional qualifications a plus
