**Job Summary**:
The Fitter Operator is responsible for assembling, fitting, and installing mechanical components and systems in a manufacturing environment. This role requires a solid understanding of engineering drawings, the ability to work with various tools and machinery, and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assemble and fit components according to engineering specifications and drawings.
- Install mechanical systems and ensure proper alignment and operation.
- Perform routine checks to ensure all components are functioning correctly.
- Operate various machines and tools, including lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and output.
- Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Identify and resolve any defects or issues during the manufacturing process.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and inspections
- Perform regular maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs as necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to management promptly.
- Work closely with other team members and departments to achieve production goals.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and improvements.

**Job** **Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical fitting or related field is a plus.
- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment as a fitter or similar role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
- Willingness to work in various conditions, including noise and temperature variations.

Pay: $1,600.00 - $2,250.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
