Senior / Assistant Director (Finance Policy)

**What the role is**
- You will lead a team in the formulation, review, and implementation of healthcare financing policies (e.g. health savings, healthcare insurance, and the safety net for the needy etc) to help Singaporeans with their healthcare expenses and to keep healthcare affordable. You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
**What you will be working on**
- You will supervise and lead a team of finance policy officers to: - Conduct analysis on data from variety of sources (healthcare insurance claims, patient profiles and health records, Medical Institutions) and over time to generate insights on the affordability and sustainability of Singapore’s healthcare financing system - Maintain strategic oversight on Singapore’s expenditure on healthcare, the financing mix (government, insurance, savings, safety nets) and macro-trends - Lead in-depth studies to investigate and evaluate effectiveness of financing policies, and to identify areas for policy intervention - Formulate, review and implement financial assistance policies (safety nets), to ensure needy Singaporeans have access to the healthcare they need - Engage and partner key stakeholders, including senior executives, clinicians, academics and public on data-driven healthcare finance policy discussions, research, international publications and public queries.
