**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify any unsafe condition or unsafe work practice which is carried out in the worksite
- Recommend and assist the occupier of the worksite to implement reasonable and practical measures to ensure a safe work condition
- Advise and liaise with Project Manager and construction team on all matters pertaining to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Work with the construction team to ensure compliance with safe management measures
- Conduct regular HSE inspections and ensure that work activities are carried out according to agreed methods
- Ensure that remedial actions are carried out to rectify any unsafe acts and conditions
- Assist in the investigations and reporting of accidents/incidents and recommend preventive and corrective measures
- Ensure compliance to statutory regulations, code of practice and the Company’s safety rules and regulations
- Conduct training for worksite safety and training activities
- Assist the project team to review the method statements and risk assessments
- Follow up on the submission of HSE documentations
- Monitor the worksite HSE performance
- Work location at Gambas

**Requirements**:

- Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health
- At least 3 years’ experience in similar capacity in the construction industry, preferably with piling or civil work activities
