**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and execute all site capital projects
- Plan projects by determining specifications, selecting contractors, establishing installation schedules, planning shut-downs and installations, integrating requirements with architectural, mechanical & electrical designs, verifying code requirements and updating cost estimates
- Lead preparation and submission of annual Site Capital Plan for capital projects to Corporate Engineering. Provide support to other departments for identifying bottlenecks and improvement projects to meet future requirements. Ensure all identified projects are included in Annual Capital Plan.
- Maintain updated forecast of monthly capital spend and present the same to Plant Management and Global Engineering Director. Ensure that capital spending meets the forecast set forth in Annual capital plan.
- Develop capital spending approval request technical and financial documents in collaboration with local & global finance and other stake holders, secure local approval and submit for approval in advance of monthly capital expenditure approval committee meeting.
- Coordinate with all the local and foreign suppliers / contractors and in-house project teams on design work of the capital projects to ensure that all the P&ID’s, layouts, specifications like User Request Specifications (URS) are as per PepsiCo Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead execution of site capital projects as per committed time line, budget and PepsiCo standards and ensure fulfilment of local regulatory requirements before, during and after completion of the projects
- Develop strong business case for key site capital projects and present to Corporate Capital Expenditures Committee for approval
- To act as point of contact for Plant Engineering Team to Corporate Support Centre on the technical queries and other communications related to projects and Capital Spending
- Work closely with procurement on negotiation of project contracts and with finance on IRR calculations and capital spend reporting
- Coordinate with Finance to complete the Asset Capitalization Form for correct capitalization of assets at project completion.
- Support Finance in Annual Fixed Asset Register Audit.
- Lead the downtime & quality improvement for 3 x Automatic / Semi-Automatic Liquid Filling lines as Subject Matter Expert ( SME )
- Any other ad hoc duties or projects as assigned

Qualifications:
- **Education or Professional Certifications **_(minimum level required e.g. Bachelor’s degree, Diploma and/or certifications)_
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechtronics Engineering
- Additional qualification in Project Management would be preferable
- **
Experience**
- Minimum 3 years of experience of managing capital projects in a manufacturing plant
- Experience in delivering medium value capital projects in similar food or pharma industry would be preferred
- Some experience in maintenance and/or improvement projects eg Lean Six Sigma an added advantage
- **
Knowledge and job skills **_(technical know-how or professional knowledge and job skills required by this post)_
- Capital Engineering Project Management skill - planning, design, approval, specifications, schedule & cost management
- Understating of GMP Standards and Hygienic design requirements would be preferred
- Basic understanding of ATEX and Explosion proof systems
- Basic understanding of SAP for capital expenditure finance process ( PR, P.O, Invoice, Accrual )
