Cloud Cybersecurity Program Manager

As we drive to be the leading cloud platform in the world, Azure Global Government Engineering team is hiring an exceptional Government Expansion Director to help accelerate our most strategic government customers’ adoption of Microsoft Azure by connecting our technical experience, along with our customers’ vision and challenges directly to the engineering product teams, and as a result help to ensure Azure is the most compelling solution on the market. We work across the broad range of Azure technologies understanding customer mission scenarios, cloud patterns and adoption blockers.

The Azure Global Government (AGG) Team is looking for a seasoned and experienced engineering leader to help define and execute on our Government expansion strategy. You will partner closely with your colleagues, engineering, and infrastructure teams, as well as country leadership to drive adoption of Azure.

**Responsibilities**:
You will be accountable to lead engagements with new Senior Government Stakeholders to understand and support their national strategy from an all-up Microsoft perspective, to include the following scope of responsibilities: Customer Success Management, Technical Leadership, and Winning New Business.
- This is a senior role and is responsible for leading the cyber security activity in country for the provision of higher classification network and workload capability. This person will be accountable for ensuring the successful security operations and assurance of the program.
- Define and deliver the cyber security program to help our customers prepare, protect, detect, respond and recover along all points of the security lifecycle.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of government policy for threat and risk, and deliver operational documentations in compliance with relevant security framework(s) to gain authority to operate in conjunction with relevant customer stakeholders.
- Working with Azure Engineering teams and external security consultants to translate security policy into actionable designs to achieve compliance to the requirements and specifications.
- Create and communicate knowledge of Information Security and Assurance processes
- Cyber controls and frameworks for deployment of secure enclaves, gateways and restricted administrative environments, Mission Critical Platform modernization
- Contribute directly to engineering product teams helping to ensure Azure is the most aligned compelling mission workloads for the Defense and Intelligence sector
- Provide security and architectural guidance for solutions on azure through engagement with security risk and compliance personnel

**Qualifications**:**
Required Qualifications**
- Clearance Level if required
- BS/MS Computer Science, Cyber Security or relevant Engineering Degree
- CISSP or equivalent certification
- Deep understanding of Cyber Security Risk Frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCS, SOC)
- Cyber threat modelling and threat intelligence analysis experience
- 10+ years of information security/cyber security experience in highly regulated industries

- Experience in cyber security operations, monitoring, and incident management will be advantageous
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Advanced Persistent Threat (APT), threat modeling, Hybrid Cloud and Workload Security configurations, Security Standards, policies and Governance frameworks, security certifications are recommended, yet not mandatory
