**This is a 12 months fixed term contract role.**

The main purpose of the role will be to ensure that all production equipment is operating reliably and Overall Equipment Efficiency measures are achievable. This includes activities such as troubleshooting and repairing equipment faults, analysis and rectification of Downtime, Quality & EHS related issues. The role would also be responsible to support in maintaining parts inventory and carry out PMs for assigned area. The position is shift based (morning and evening shift) and may be required to cover weekends as per production schedule.
- **Troubleshooting** and repairing machinery/equipment faults in the production areas. Familiar with rotary filling machinery, liquid processing equipment and powder filling machine
- Support **automation** engineer in calibrations and control trouble shooting as required
- Analysis and monitoring of wastage, yield, quality & EHS issues in production areas, and completing remedial actions
- Basic knowledge for Utility equipment functionality and able to work together with vendor with any **maintenance** activity or troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with company and legislative Health and Safety, quality & housekeeping procedures
- Preferred with **Food/beverage Manufacturing Background, Oil & Gas Background or, Pharmaceutical Background**:

- Maintaining and updating of machine records through the use of a maintenance **system SAP**. Update and maintain daily technician log sheet, temporary repairs log sheet and assigned work orders
- Knowledge and experience of trouble shooting electrical and control equipment like **motors, VFDs, PLCs**, electrical panels, relays, contactors, Level, temperature, pressure, weight, flow, proximity sensors and switches would be preferred.
- Able to read and understand **electrical, pneumatic, P&IDs** and basic mechanical / parts drawings and manufacturer manuals
- Basic understanding of maintenance terms and techniques like **preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance (thermography, vibration monitoring etc), Corrective maintenance**

**Requirements**:

- Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronic in National Technical Trades Qualification is essential. (NITEC or equivalent)
- Applicants must have good communication skills combined with a flexible, team orientated and 'can do' approach. Prior knowledge/experience in GMP and lean manufacturing principles including 5s & RCA would be preferable.
- 3+ year's previous relevant experience gained in a similar manufacturing environment. Especially in Food / pharma industry would be preferred.
- Computer literate with strong organizational /administration skills.
- Track record includes experience in troubleshooting, problem solving and focus on equipment improvement.
- Able to working/coordinating to peer and fellow colleague with maintaining good relationship among the team. With good team work spirit.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $3,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
