Treasury Assistant, Singapore

Job Purpose:
Key Responsibilities:
Bank account administration activities
- Manage existing bank accounts as well as the opening of new bank accounts and closing of old bank accounts
- Coordinate and assist banks or other institutions with their “Know Your Customer” requirements
- E-banking & internet banking set up & maintenance, including coordination of consistent signing patterns across all banks

General treasury activity support
- Support Trade Operations in assisting with bank queries, KYC, client onboarding etc
- Support client on-boarding and SSI confirmation
- Manage Treasury related databases and centralized electronic filing systems
- Assist with daily liquidity forecasting to support daily payments process
- Assist with Receivables Purchase Program
- Ad hoc support with maintenance of Excel models for long term liquidity management
- Ad hoc support with preparation of Powerpoint presentations
- Assist with calculation and preparation of debt reporting covenants to banks
- Ad hoc support with management of custodian / broker platforms for equity investments

Education and Qualifications:

- Relevant undergraduate degree in business/accountancy/finance/economics.
- Applicants in the process of studying towards CPA / CFA qualifications would be an advantage

**Experience**:

- 3 to 5 years of treasury experience in the financial services industry in Singapore, either with a global bank or a commodities trading company
- Strong understanding of bank KYC and account opening procedures essential

**Skills**:

- Proficiency with Excel / treasury systems essential, for example the online treasury portals provided by global banks
- Fluency in English
