**Your role**
- We’re looking for an experienced Payments Specialist in a team lead position to:
- Execute the processes and controls you are responsible for in a timely, accurate and compete manner
- Work across teams and functions to get the best solution or course of action.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements and with internal polices and contracts.

**Your team**
- You’ll be working in the Payments team in Singapore. We’re part of Personal & Corporate Banking Operations, and are responsible for handling of payment instructions, including standing orders, G3 and direct debits for customers, internal entities or financial institutions.

**Your expertise**
- Minimum of 3 years experience in leading a payment service which encompasses the following:

- Ensure accurate and timely execution of domestic and international remittances
- Familiar with Direct Debit Authorization (DDA) and G3 processing
- Provision of cheque / bank draft services
- Manage and reconcile internal control accounts
Handling of charge/fee payment and collections
- Adherence to the bank's internal guidelines and the local regulatory policies related to our products
- Service oriented approach in handling client queries, escalations, requests and issues on payments
- Follow-up and conduct investigation on any payment related issues
Provide daily/monthly KPI report for management purpose
Identify and delivering of opportunities for process enhancement and re-engineering
People management and talent development
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Banking, Business or Finance
- Familiar with industry level changes such as ISO 20022 MX migration
- Proficiency across SWIFT message types and protocols
- Preferable to have experience in Excel VBA Macros, Python or Excel Power Query
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
