Senior Videographer

**Introduction**:

- The **Senior Videographer **will primarily be leading and managing our small video production team. You will also be somewhat involved in a few other video production aspects ranging from ideas conceptualisation to post-production and delivery with the rest of the team.
- Note that only our production work is done on-site. All pre-production and post-production work will be done from the home. Hurray

**What Responsibilities Will You Hold?**
- Report to and work with the Director and Producer and other staff on day-to-day operations... Duh
- Lead the Production Team in production shoots, and we really mean we need a leader.
- Manage solo production shoots when we need you to shoot a simple video project by yourself.
- Manage on-site production activities, including operations of camera, lights and sound equipment. In case you are curious, we use mainly prosumer range of equipment.
- Train new crew in video production operations, and we have new ones onboarded pretty often.
- Oversee footages collection to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained.
- Be involved in some pre-production planning with Director and Producer, which includes concept development and storyboarding. Yes, we'll need your brains too.
- Be involved in post-production line with editing team to deliver high quality product on time. This isn't often, but we welcome you to be involved.
- Identify best practices for video production and evolve daily operations as necessary.
- And if you want, you can even be in front of our cameras to be the star that you always wanted.

**What Qualities Should You Possess?**:

- First and foremost, you must want to continually improve, be spontaneous and take initiatives.
- You must be able to lead and manage a small team to handle a few projects simultaneously by managing available resources. But when required, you have to be able to work independently as well.
- You should be able to lead numerous projects simultaneously by managing resources within the production team.
- You must have good camera, lights and audio operations knowledge and operational competence. Yes, we'll train you in handling our equipment, but this is the very fundamentals of your duties.
- You shoud possess some elements of basic cinematography knowledge, at least to have an inclination towards knowing how to design simple sets and frame the cameras.
- You should dislike working in offices and during office hours... yup, no typos here. But we expect you to contribute towards a 40 to 44-hour workweek though. And yes, we hate to work 60-hour weeks as much as you do.
- But you must be able to work during nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as required, as there are no fixed office hours.
- At the end of the day, the most important things are your willingness to learn, be better in everything that you do a year from now, and want to contribute back to the team and the company.

**What Academic Qualifications Must You Have?**:

- Well, we don't really care if you're graduating from a uni, a poly or an ITE. In fact, we don't really look at your grades. Learns Marketing is hoping to get you in with the attitude in wanting to work hard, learn continuously and grow together.
- Even if you don't possess every one of the qualities above, but want to learn, feel free to apply. But our advice is... do know what you're signing up for. If you are purely looking to make a lot of money, or have a regimental work life, there are numerous other ways to do so than to join our small and hardworking team... or even work in the creative industry for that matter.
