Part Time Position for a Shadow Support/Classroom Assistant to provide one-on-one support to a 7 year old child with cerebral palsy.

**Job Scope**
- Support child with complex disabilities to meet his learning and developmental needs.
- Work with the lead teacher in the classroom to support child to participate in their daily curriculum.
- Work with the lead teacher to plan and implement social, emotional and/or behavioural interventions for the child.
- Set up of learning activities and follow-through of learning/behaviour plans.
- Support with child’s daily living skills (toileting, dressing and mealtime routines).
- Work in collaboration with a multi-professional team of teachers and therapists.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Diploma in Special/Education, Early Childhood, Psychology or related field
- Experience with children with special needs
- Have a strong command of English and have good organizational skills
- Able to work independently and yet be a good team player
- Fun, caring, confident and enthusiastic

Full training will be provided.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: From $2,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
