**Associate Director, Litigation and Contingent Risk - Transaction Solutions Asia**

Aon is Asia’s leading provider of risk management services, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, and human resources solutions and outsourcing. Aon’s Transaction Solutions team provides bespoke insurance solutions such as Litigation and Contingent Risk Insurance that give financial security to parties in M&A transactions by transferring potential litigation and contingent risk to the insurance market.

Forming a critical part of Aon’s regional specialty team and supporting the Head of Transaction Solutions Asia, you will be assisting in originating, managing and executing litigation and contingent risk opportunities. This is achieved through engaging the internal Aon client service teams and external distribution channels (lawyers, investment banks, fund managers, accounting firms and private equity firms) to develop relationships and deliver litigation and contingent risk insurance solutions to clients and prospects.

**What the day will look like**

Working as part of the Transaction Solutions team on the following activities, with a particular focus on litigation and contingent risk opportunities.
- Advisory and delivery of litigation and contingent risk insurance solutions with existing Aon clients and prospects and prospects new to Aon.
- Engagement of external distribution channels (accounting firms, lawyers, investment banks and private equity firms, multinational corporations, etc) and internal Aon client teams to build relationships and deliver litigation and contingent risk insurance solutions to clients and prospects.
- Maintenance of relationships with litigation and contingent risk insurance underwriters.
- Regular attendance at external client meetings and seminars with a view to building relationships.
- Preparation of presentation materials and collation of data and other collateral for business development and deal specific use.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- International legal disputes professional (with at least 6 - 8 PQE) from leading law firms.
- Knowledge around how M&A deals are conducted, and experience in dealing with disputed issues commonly arising from M&A deals.
- Excellent people skills with the ability to work with others under pressure and to resolve conflict in a constructive manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to effectively and confidently present to clients and other audiences.
- Possess enthusiastic, creative thinker and sound judgement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office i.e., word, excel, powerpoint.
