**Qualifications**:

- Minimum suitable ITE/Diploma certification (additional certification in relevant skills such as courses in fitness instruction, rehab training, aquatic instruction would be an advantage)**:

- Certified in Standard First Aid. CPR & AED
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience
- Proficient in MS Office programs, especially in Word and Excel programs

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Instructing, supervising and monitoring clients in safely performing exercises in the gym according to department’s protocols
- To be involved in assisting or facilitating aqua/ hydropool programmes (as assigned by supervisor)
- Monitor clients in hydropool to ensure their safety and the effective facilitation of the relevant programmes.
- Able to perform assessment clients using the Home’s approved protocols
- Ensure that the rigorous hygiene standards for our in-house gym and hydropool premises (including equipment) are consistently adhered to
- To be involved in various related projects (such as our Intergenerational Initiative)
- To perform administrative duties as assigned by supervisor (eg. maintain and update client records, programmes and activities)

**Key Assets and Abilities**:

- A good team player with the ability to work well with minimum supervision
- Fluent in spoken & written English, ability to converse in Mandarin/dialect would be an asset
- Passionate about health and wellness
- Approachable and client-centred
- Compassion for the elderly and children
