Position Overview:
We are seeking a UAV **Product Configuration Engineer** to join our engineering development team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and programme, to support the product lifecycle from design through production and post-delivery support. Your main responsibility will be to manage and maintain UAV product configurations for production and continued airworthiness.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Configuration Management**: Develop and manage configuration control processes to ensure that products are properly configured, documented, and aligned with customer requirements.
- **Documentation, Manuals & Reporting**: Maintain up-to-date configuration documentation, including bill of materials (BOM), manuals, reports, and service bulletins for both internal teams and customers.
- **Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams**: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and programme teams to ensure seamless integration of product configurations into production and final delivery.
- **Change Control**: Implement and manage changes to product configurations, ensuring that all changes are tracked, communicated, and applied across relevant teams and systems.
- **Product Lifecycle Support**: Oversee the configuration throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring consistency from development to production and through end-of-life (EOL) phases.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of configuration management processes, Bill of Materials (BOM), and product lifecycle management (PLM).
- Familiarity with CAD software and product design tools.
- Experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience (2+ years) as a Product Configuration Engineer, Configuration Manager, or similar role in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
