**Key Responsibilities**
- **Deliver Engaging Biology Lessons**: Prepare and teach interactive and engaging biology lessons that cater to students of various learning styles. Utilize a variety of teaching resources, including multimedia, practical lab experiments, and innovative methods to make complex biological concepts accessible and interesting.
- **Curriculum Development**: Collaborate with fellow educators to **design and refine biology curriculum** that meet the academic needs of students while keeping them engaged. Ensure lessons are up-to-date with the latest scientific advancements and in line with Singapore’s education standards.
- **Invigilation & Marking**: Assist with **invigilating exams** and assessments in the lab or classroom, ensuring that all procedures are followed with accuracy and professionalism. Provide constructive and timely feedback to students through **marking** assignments, quizzes, and practice papers.
- **Student Support**: Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions for students who need extra help, ensuring that they fully grasp key concepts. Foster a supportive and positive learning environment that encourages students to ask questions and challenge themselves.
- **Track Student Progress**: Regularly monitor and assess students' progress. Offer personalized guidance and feedback to help them improve, and work with parents to keep them informed about their child’s development.
- **Collaborate with the Teaching Team**: Work closely with colleagues to share best practices, brainstorm creative teaching strategies, and contribute to team discussions aimed at enhancing the overall student experience.

**Requirements**:

- **Educational Qualifications**: A degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field. Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred, but we also welcome **fresh graduates** with a passion for teaching.
- **Strong Communication Skills**: The ability to explain complex concepts in simple, understandable terms and communicate effectively with both students and parents.
- **Student-Centric Approach**: A genuine interest in the academic success and well-being of students, with a focus on individualized learning and support.
- **Curriculum Development Skills**: Experience with curriculum design, or a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to build and adapt lesson plans and teaching materials.
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to manage and organize marking, invigilation duties, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- **Team Player**: Willingness to collaborate, share ideas, and contribute to the growth of the team and center.
- **Fun & Creative**: We want someone who can think outside the box and bring innovative ideas to make biology lessons exciting and interactive.
