**Responsibilities**:

- Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, firewalls, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
- Strong knowledge of configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security
- Support the Cloud, Infrastructure and Modern Work Place pillar of IT as necessary for overall team success
- Provide local and remote management of Network Infrastructure Operations in a manner consistent with company policies and practices
- Ensure the security of the information systems including domains and equipment
- Establish and implement short and long range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
- Support company network initiatives as a contact within APAC IT Teams covering SD WAN, ISPs and Firewall administration
- Establish, and continuously evaluate monitoring needs across all network devices to ensure propre alerting and response processes are in place, as well as adjusted as needed
- Participates in system security and back up procedures in coordination with the global IT and Risk teams
- Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
- Arranging scheduled upgrades
- Investigating faults in the network
- Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
- Reporting network status to IT / Infra Manager

**Requirements**:

- Degree in information technology related field of study with a network engineering focus
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware
- Strong knowledge in Network Segmentation and Network Anomaly Detection
- Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions
- Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers
- Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems
- Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
- Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization
- A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Dependable and flexible when necessary
- Network security experience
- LAN and WAN experience
- Experience with cloud based solutions
