**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**Job Overview**:
The Interior Designer is responsible for conceptualizing and executing design solutions that enhance the aesthetics, functionality, and safety of interior spaces. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs, developing design plans, selecting appropriate materials and furnishings, and overseeing the implementation of design projects. The Interior Designer ensures that all designs comply with building codes and industry standards, while reflecting the client’s personality and lifestyle.

**Client Consultation and Project Understanding**:

- Meet with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and budget for interior spaces.
- Conduct site assessments to analyse existing spaces and gather measurements, layout data, and architectural elements.
- Create design concepts that align with the client’s vision, needs, and functional requirements.

**Design Development and Planning**:

- Develop detailed design plans, including space planning, furniture layouts, color schemes, lighting designs, and material selections.
- Prepare sketches, mood boards, and 3D renderings to communicate design ideas to clients.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that meet aesthetic and budgetary guidelines.
- Incorporate sustainable and eco-friendly design practices where possible.

**Presentation and Client Approvals**:

- Present design concepts, drawings, and material selections to clients for approval.
- Make revisions based on client feedback and preferences, ensuring the final design meets their expectations.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to update them on project progress and address any concerns.

**Trend Analysis and Research**:

- Stay current with interior design trends, innovations in materials, and advances in furniture design.
- Research and propose new design ideas and solutions to enhance project outcomes.
- Attend design shows, exhibitions, and seminars to stay informed of industry trends and new products.

**Qualifications**:
**Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.**

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.
- Experience with rendering software (e.g., 3ds Max, V-Ray) and graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards (ADA compliance).
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials is a plus.

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent creative and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects.
- Time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,600.00 per month
