**Responsibilities**:
The product characterization team in Singapore is looking for a highly motivated individual to evaluate the performance of AMD Adaptive SoC products. As a member of the product characterization team, you will develop and execute system-level characterization suites and volume system tests to guarantee design margins, identify problem areas and ensure the performance of complex hard IP and subsystems such as the Processor or SmartNIC subsystems within our Adaptive SoC products.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Designing and developing functional tests for measuring hard IP performance with respect to e.g. timing, frequency and voltage margins
- Developing volume system test suites to identify problem areas and coverage gaps
- Implementing scripts and automation for pre-silicon and post-silicon experimental lab setups
- Collecting and analyzing characterization data across operating conditions and volume to generate characterization reports and insights
- Working with cross-functional teams to correlate data, debug and resolve issues
- 7+ years of experience in pre/post-silicon validation
- BS in EE, CS, ECE or related field; MS preferred
- Logic design (RTL) skills in VDHL or Verilog
- Knowledge of ARM-based processor systems, AMBA interconnects and SoC architecture
- Skills in ATE and/or bench PVT characterization suite development
- Good understanding of EDA tools and FPGA internals
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Tcl or Perl
- Proficiency in C/C++, with ARM assembly, embedded Linux, RTOS and C compilers desirable
- Understanding of the PCIe protocol is a plus
