Key Work Level Accountabilities:
- Assist and guide the APAC users with accessing the various IT systems or devices.
- Perform investigation and provide resolution to IT related issues or requests raised by APAC users.
- Assist and provide support to the APAC IT manager on issue tracking and MI reporting.
- Assist and provide support to the APAC IT manager with special projects.
Key Responsibilities for this role:
- Acting as one of the day to day key points of contact and liaison with 1st line support (e.g. Service Desk) and 3rd line support (e.g. Desktop, Messaging, Networks Teams) and also M&G IS/IT Teams in London.
- Assist the APAC IT team with providing BAU support to users on issues relating to Desktop, Laptop and associated devices, AD account, PVPN and authentication, Windows security patches and upgrades, as well as the Video Conferencing and Telepresence facilities in office or on users’ laptops.
- Manage LAN attached printer problems incl. network connectivity, printer queues, and liaison with printer vendor on issue resolution.
- Escalate IT issues to 2nd and 3rd line support teams, act as liaison between technical teams and end users, ensure adequate communication to end users, and follow up on the issues through to resolution.
- Participating in APAC IT project work, such as setting up new local office in another APAC location, and assisting with other APAC offices with share point migration and post migration support.
- Assist the APAC IT manager with managing the group head-office driven change activities in APAC offices and work with global IT teams and vendors on post implementation support.
- Manage IT related communication & follow-up checkpoints with stakeholders from multiple business functions including Sales and Distribution, Public Asset Investment and Dealing, Real Estate and Private Credits Investments, Risk and Compliance, Finance and other support functions.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
- Knowledge of Desktop, Laptop, Surface Pros, Citrix, Outlook, Windows 10, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, TCP/IP, Azure / Cloud computing, Remote Access, and Apple technologies.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytic skills and problem resolution skills.
- Self-driven and motivative. Ability to work in a fast pace environment and ability to follow-through and prioritise the concurrent work activities.
