**Department Description**

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking is a part of Global Banking & Investor Solutions (GBIS). The Middle Office team works on the middle office activities for the structure finance transactions within the Global Banking & Advisory business (GLBA). Structured Finance covers various sectors including energy, metals and mining, infrastructure, shipping and real estate. The Middle Office team in Asia covers the full APAC scope including Australia/New Zealand, Hong Kong/China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Singapore, India, and other South-East Asia locations.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for middle office functions supporting Project Finance business lines covering energy, metals and mining, and infrastructure.
- Review of legal documentation for transaction execution.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (such as front office, risk and compliance, back office and finance) to ensure transactions are smooth during deal closing.
- Process amendments, waivers and consents for assigned transactions by preparing credit memo and obtaining all required internal credit approvals.
- Prepare annual credit reviews (including financial analysis, financial model projections, rating assessment and proposal/recommendation) for assigned transactions.
- Follow the risks of the counterparties (covenants follow up, collateral valuation, Unlikely To Pay events management, etc)
- Responsible for credit monitoring and reporting including Watch List Triggers and Early Earning Indicators.
- Perform quarterly watchlist and default reviews and present the same in meetings with the Business Line and the Risk department.
- Contribution towards various portfolio management reporting tasks (ad hoc client requests, specific request for internal partners, scarce resource management).

**Profile Required**
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a financial background
- 3-5 years banking experience, preferably with project finance experience
- Excellent written and spoken communication in English
- Experience in Project Finance
- Strong financial and credit analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and organisation skills, ability to prioritise and multitask
- Ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-focused environment
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable working with legal documentation
- Knowledge of cash flow modelling and analysis and valuation skills developed in a financial services environment
