The Ho lab within the Programme in Cardiovascular and Metabolic Disorders, Duke-NUS, is interested in discovering and functionalising novel small endogenous peptides in metabolism and cardiovascular biology. We are seeking a Research Assistant / Research Associate who is passionate about investigating, documenting and reporting the metabolic and vascular phenotypes of mouse models.
- Management of mouse colony
- Handling and phenotyping of mice
- Upkeep of regulatory paperwork pertaining to the project (IACUC, IRBs, etc)
- Basic laboratory work, including PCR genotyping and histology
- Operation of the PhenoMaster System - a newly acquired metabolic phenotyping platform for mice

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or related discipline with at least 2 years of work experience in a research environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and expertise in supporting various research activities.
- A strong team player who is open-minded, energetic, highly motivated and can work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team and diverse workforce.
- RCULA certification will be an advantage.
