[What the role is]

DEPUTY /ASSISTANT MANAGER, TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of the team under the Technology Integration (TI) Division in LTA. This dynamic team establishes and maintains the LTA technology roadmap that supports LTA’s present and future requirements. Our efforts are critical in delivering the visions articulated in the Land Transport Master Plan 2040.

You will work closely with the stakeholders to develop the technology roadmap which will look into all facets of implementation. You will be part of the TI team to implement technology exploration initiatives to support the technology roadmap. They will build and maintain partnerships with industries and academia whom LTA will collaborate to identify and explore technology solutions to address the operational challenges. The team will also lead or take part in project management work for proof-of-concept trials which LTA may embark with its technology collaborators. The team will perform horizon scanning on the technology landscape for land transport. This will systematically pick up emerging technology trends, and identify and monitor potential disruptive technologies that may impact the current land transport system.

Our work in TI goes beyond LTA and have significant synergy with Singapore’s Smart Nation initiative. TI leads the coordination of LTA’s efforts as part of the whole-of-government efforts towards Smart Nation, and our work will offer opportunities for exposure to strategic considerations at the WOG level, while providing challenging work to support LTA’s capability development.

[What we are looking for]

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualification preferably in Engineering, other discipline will be

considered
- Strong writing, analytical, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- At least 2 years relevant working experience in R&D project management or

automotive engineering/industry is preferred
- Ability to analyse and interpret technical data into reports/presentation and

respond to any queries about the results will be an advantage
- Resourceful with a strong command of English as well as good writing and

presentation skills is strongly preferred
- Team player and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Have a passion in identifying innovative technological solutions to overcome

urban land transport system challenges
- Experience in developing research and development roadmaps will be an

advantage
