E&i Technician

THE OPPORTUNITY
- This is a 2-year traineeship contract located at our TUAS plant

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Technician plans, organizes, performs engineering and maintenance activities related to the installation, modifications, troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations, and maintenance of equipment / system to ensure that they are safe, efficiently, reliable and meet GMP/ regulatory / production requirements at production plant.

Our Manufacturing Operations teams are the people that make our products. We work in the manufacturing plants with a “Safety First, Quality Always” mindset striving for continuous improvement. We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Provides support to complete work activities timely, efficiently, and satisfactorily.
- Follow up and continue with the previous shift or day incomplete work.
- Provides simple troubleshooting and diagnostic of equipment failure to determine the root cause and perform immediate corrective actions. Use RTPS or RCFA tool for difficult or complex problem.
- Standby for any emergency repair after office hours / weekends and public holidays.
- Maintain production equipment efficiently and reliably and to support production activities.
- Any other duties as and when assigned by the Supervisor / Manager.

**WHAT YOU MUST HAVE**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- NTC / ITC / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Instrument & Control engineering or its equivalent
- 3 - 5 years of working experience in electrical/instrumentation field in the Petrochemical or related industries
- Simple report writing skills

Preferred qualifications:

- PUB electrician’s license will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of cGMP and good documentation practice will be an advantage.
