**Attachment Description**:
**This position reports to the Director and interacts with other teachers. To prepare, provide and teach using school materials so as to enable students to learn the principles of the Chinese language including the rules of grammar and syntax, to develop an understanding and appreciation of literature and to advance students' reading, verbal and written communication abilities.**:
**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Prepare lesson plans that meet core objectives and principles and are in line with the curriculum goals.
- Deliver lessons using a variety of differentiated instructional techniques that are appropriate to the academic level and meet the diverse needs of students.
- Maximize the appropriate use of technology in the classroom as an instructional tool.
- Teach grammar and syntax, vocabulary and word usage and other principles of the Chinese language.
- Develop students' reading, oral and writing skills.
- Mark students' assignment.
- Monitor performance and progress and modify instructional methods to meet individual needs where necessary.
- Observe and evaluate student's performance and development.
- Prepare required reports on students and activities.

**Technical Skills and Competencies:
1. Should possess good planning and organizational skills.

2. Should have outstanding communication skills.

3. Should be able to introduce courses to parents which will be beneficial to the students.

4. Should possess flexibility and adaptability.

5. Should be able to handle stress.

6. Should be creative and innovative to capture the students' attention.

7. Must be knowledgeable in Chinese language.
