Power and Energy Team Lead

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design, development, and integration of battery management systems alongside cutting-edge energy technologies like solid-state batteries.
- Perform advanced power system analyses, including load flow studies, protection coordination, and stability evaluations.
- Manage system integration for energy storage and power distribution solutions.
- Provide expert technical guidance throughout all project phases, from proposal development to commissioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including mechanical, software, and systems engineers—to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation such as specifications, reports, and design packages.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to capture technical requirements and translate them into practical engineering solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and act as a technical reviewer to ensure the quality of engineering deliverables.
- Ensure all designs adhere to applicable safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Support strategic initiatives, including the Agile Energy Services Hub and other key business growth programs.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in power systems engineering or the development of energy technologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in battery management systems and/or the integration of energy storage systems.
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, control systems, and embedded systems.
- Proficient in simulation and modeling tools such as PSCAD, ETAP, PSS®E, or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Well-versed in industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC) and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven leadership and project management skills, with experience guiding engineering teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communicator, skilled in engaging with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience in R&D or innovation projects is an advantage.
