Executive Director, IT Audit

As a key member of the audit leadership team, the Executive Director will provide strategic direction, mentorship, and oversight to a team of skilled professionals to deliver high-quality audit services that support the achievement of business objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT audit plan based on risk assessment and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and execute audits of IT processes, systems, and controls to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluate the adequacy of IT security measures and data protection practices to mitigate risks and safeguard sensitive information.
- Review and assess the implementation of IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and adherence to industry standards.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders, driving accountability and promoting continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and regulatory bodies to address audit issues and enhance the overall control environment.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes to provide proactive guidance and support to the organization.
- Foster a culture of integrity, teamwork, and excellence within the IT audit team, promoting professional development and continuous learning.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certification (CISA, CISSP, etc.) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT audit, risk management, or related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks, control standards, and auditing practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in assessing IT risks, controls, and compliance requirements across diverse business functions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of managing complex audit projects, leading teams, and driving results in a large, matrixed organization.
