**Responsibilities**:

- Contribute as a risk manager being part of APAC Global Margin Lending, Alternative Assets and Family Office Risk team.
- Provide oversight and challenge for the business covering full range of Counterparty Credit products
- Analyze/assess Private Bank clients and special purpose entities for margin lending transactions and capital markets products, recommend risk mitigation strategies for approval to senior risk managers, by utilizing complex and diverse knowledge and understanding of credit and risks across various products.
- Contribute to periodic portfolio review and due diligence for credit extension of clients, including in-depth analysis of financials, capital structure/liquidity analysis, stress tests, and collateral valuation.
- Work directly with senior risk and business colleagues to generate meaningful and detailed credit reviews.
- Maintains sound understanding about different markets, products, strategies, tools and associated risks.
- Identifies reputation risk and its cause/effects.
- Work with Risk Managers with the preparation of portfolio risk analysis, ad-hoc regulatory requirement needs, and other ad-hoc assignments.
- Knowledgeable about risk systems infrastructure including key processes, coverage and data flows in order to identify risk effectively.

Qualifications:

- 7 to 8years previous experience in risk, or business, or support role
- Proficiency in margin lending, capital markets products and complex financing and product structures
- Understanding of financial analysis and ability to navigate and understand financial statements
- Able to discuss and address issues associated with the allocation of risk assets and risk capital in partnership with banking and product organizations
- Significant risk/risk-related counterparty credit work experience in banking/financial institutions with expertise in the private client, family office and alternative investment counterparties
- Excellent written and verbal communication. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel as well as database management experience. Rudimentary understanding of applicable industry regulations and standards.
