**Safety Officer cum ECO (A1 Main con)**

**Our client, a leading A1 Main Contractor, is renowned for delivering top-tier projects across the residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors. With new projects underway, they are hiring a Site Engineer to join their growing team.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Review, maintain, and enhance the Safety Management System, Safe Work Procedures, and Risk Assessments.
- Perform regular site inspections, audits, and investigations to identify potential hazards, ensure regulatory compliance, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss events; prepare reports on findings and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Deliver safety training sessions, lead toolbox talks, and actively promote a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations, including those set by MOM, NEA, and other relevant authorities.
- Manage environmental responsibilities such as waste disposal, pollution prevention, and conservation of resources.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager (EHS) and Project Head to develop, implement, maintain, and improve the WSH Management System and safety culture at the project level.
- Maintain comprehensive records of safety inspections, audits, incident reports, and environmental monitoring activities.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage risks related to workplace safety and environmental hazards.

**Qualifications**:

- Registered Safety Officer with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
- Certified Environmental Control Officer (ECO) by the National Environment Agency (NEA).
- Holds Earth Control Measure Officer (ECMO) certification.
- At least 5 years of experience in safety and environmental management roles.
- In-depth understanding of relevant safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to documentation.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
- Skilled in performing safety audits and on-site inspections.
