Our client is a financial back-office services provider based in Singapore, backed by tier-1 VC and angel investors.

You will join the team as a Finance Specialist working with external high-growth start-up clients. As a Finance Specialist, you are more than a bookkeeper. You will contribute to their growth journey by overseeing day-to-day financial activities and accounts, including upholding accurate and timely financial records and assisting in preparing financial statements and audit documents.

**Your core responsibilities will include**:

- Overseeing day-to-day financial activities and accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with Singapore accounting standards and regulations.
- Upholding accurate and current financial records, including bank statement reconciliations and preparing financial reports.
- Executing the prompt and accurate processing of invoices, expense claims, and other financial documents.
- Collaborating seamlessly with other departments to gather essential financial information and promptly resolve discrepancies.
- Assisting in the preparation of comprehensive financial statements and supporting documentation for audits.

**Key skills and experience required**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant experience as a Finance Executive, Accountant, or related role, demonstrating expertise in accounting standards in Singapore.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero or Quickbooks and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Willing to wear multiple hats and work in partnership with external clients.
- Strong attention to detail, well organised, and self-sufficient.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
