SCARCE (Singapore CEA Alliance for Research in Circular Economy) is a joint collaboration between NTU (Singapore) and CEA (France) focusing on recycling of electronic waste (Lithium-ion batteries, silicon solar panels and printed circuit boards).

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up rigorous protocols and characterize composition of silicon solar panels and their components- Develop and execute experiments aimed at the extraction and recovery of materials embedded within silicon solar panels- Curating and managing experimental data, and assist in preparation of reports, presentations, technological disclosures and manuscripts- Be in charge of laboratory equipment and maintenance

Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in chemistry/engineering/material science or related field- At least 1-2 of relevant experience in laboratory research- Familiarity with material characterization techniques would be advantageous- Good written and oral communication skills- Willingness to learn, with adaptability and flexibility to take on required/necessary tasks beyond the job description- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work cohesively in a team whilst sharing resources- Excellent organizational skills including attention to details
