Quality Assurance Engineer

Singapore SEATRIUM (SG) PTE. LTD. Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Reviews technical specifications, drawings, procedures, and standard required in the project
- Deploys QA inspectors for project inspection activities
- Reviews drawings, documents & weekly updated drawing register from document controller and distribute to project QA personnel
- Administers the project internal quality audit to ensure compliance with the project quality plan
- Monitors the inspection and documentation activities of QA Inspector to ensure complain with inspection & test plan and project quality requirements
- Interfaces with Owner and class pertaining to quality related issues and technical and technical calibrations and queries
- Handles and resolves quality related issues arising from sub-contractor and in-house production
- Reviews documentation like painting specification, procedures, ITP, galvanizing procedures, TSA, PFP or any other procedures specified
- Reviews and prepares project Quality Induction, qualification test for blasters/painters and certify them
- Coordinates with external party technical details. and co-ordinate with production department, the paint manufacturer and client representative Resolves any technical problems or issues faced at the work site and prepares a report if any coating failure

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture / Civil / Marine and Offshore / Mechanical / Engineering or related engineering disciplines
- Possess professional certifications such as NACE Level II
- At least 3 years of relevant Quality Assurance working experience, preferably in the offshore and marine industry
- Strong knowledge in Surface Preparation and Coating work in the Marine or Offshore industries is required
- Proficient computer knowledge with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word and Outlook) is required
- Possess positive and willing to learn attitude
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
