The role will provide the key supply planning interface to the business to drive and deliver best for business decisions across the supply chain, and to deliver high levels of product availability at lowest effective cost.

Key activities of this role include:

- Supply sufficiency for 24 months across the Hub - with strong linkage into Plants to ensure conformance to schedule and drive labour / capacity plans and into Countries to secure customer service target.
- Manage Inventory levels to DIOH targets expectations and customer service availability agreements
- Manage Planning Process performance and efficiency in the Category.
- Management of capacity constraints across supply network and lead communication to business contacts / senior management across impacted countries.
- Assessment of Forecast Change requests & Forecast change notifications from countries (where necessary) & scenario planning process
- Leading the supply planning of NPD and supply chain reinvention projects
- Collaborating with Category Product Supply Lead and Strategic Supply Planning Lead providing critical inputs in setting strategies for the most cost effective sourcing for the Category.

**Develop the Supply Plan**
- Develop an accurate and feasible supply plan for area of responsibility, which will be across multiple supply sources as required, to balance supply and demand across a rolling 24 month horizon
- Partner with the relevant Market and Category demand teams and key stakeholders to ensure latest commercial intelligence is reflected in long term plans
- Partner with Business units to ensure effective handover from planning through to manufacturing
- Provide clear inputs and challenges to the SKU portfolio optimisation (sku classification and prioritisation matrix) process that are fact based and challenge non value adding complexity

**Manage the Supply Planning Process**
- Align RCCP and C:D (capacity to demand) ratio targets & performance with site lead team & manage any exceptions into Category SR
- Manage and communicate risks & opportunities in the supply network production plans and identify future production capacity requirements to achieve commercial growth strategies
- Assess and resolve/communicate issues which are going to lead to supply shortfalls or excess stocks and lead/support projects which will eliminate root causes
- Ensure inventories are maintained in accordance with inventory holding policies and are in line with the agreed inventory plan. Ensure that there is a robust RCA monthly review & forward inventory projections, which clearly highlight excesses and shortages
- Provide escalation point for the management of ‘at risk’ inventory
- Drive material supply management process robustness to ensure supply reliability and business continity
- Delivery of relevant metrics to ensure flexibility of optimum product availability to meet CSL targets, stock levels and effective use of production assets
- Understanding Compliance to Schedule (CtS) performance including RCA and impact on forward planning assumptions
- Drive stability through the product supply process to ensure planning time fences policies are maintained and adhered to
- Take a lead role in make vs. buy analysis and decisions for products
- Ensure delivery of relevant supply plans and create effective frameworks and forums for agreement of planning parameters with site lead team
- Ensure product launches and deletions are clearly included in Supply plans within agreed time lines driving process compliance as required
- Ongoing review and development of the supply planning processes / strategies to continuously improve supply performance, sustainability and inventory optimisation

**Integrated Business Planning**
- Lead the supply review process within the IBP cycle and participate in Category supply review
- Ensure that issues and actions arising within the monthly business planning cycle are managed to completion
- Develop effective communication and relationship with supplying sites and ensure integration between pre supply and the consolidated Hub supply review process

**Weekly Drumbeat Process**
- Provide leadership to Supply Planners to drive the weekly drumbeat process
- Partner with site supply planning and demand teams to coordinate, consolidate, resolve and communicate short term (within 0-13 weeks) supply constraints which may require Multi
- site optimisation through Weekly Service Meeting and Weekly DSP Meeting

**Job specific requirements**:

- Fully Operational knowledge of SAP ECC/APO/BI in Supply Chain through formal training and experience
- Comprehensive Supply Chain or Logistics education or experience
- Knowledge of inventory management techniques, capacity management practices
- Understanding of cost drivers along total Supply Chain
