**Summary:
A professional accounting firm, is searching for a Team Lead to oversee the team's engagements and financial responsibilities for the clients' accounting mandates. You will motivate and coach the team to continuously meet clients' expectations while maintaining close contact with clients for client retention, engagement, and new service opportunities.

This key position will allow you to excel in your leadership skills to spearhead a team. It also expects you to become a true leader in identifying business growth opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage all accounting aspects of assigned client's portfolios.
- Lead and work with 3-5 accounts executives to perform accounts payable and accounts receivable, perform monthly account reconciliations, and monitor general ledger transactions.
- Review and ensure the team achieves monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing of accounts are timely and accurate.
- Prepare and review the month-end financial close, tax filing/reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance is met for all clients.
- Engage and enhance relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Identify opportunities to promote services/solutions to potential clients to grow the business.
- Support the team in resolving all complex accounting matters and queries.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in accountancy or equivalent with at least 3 years as a Team Lead
- Experience handling a full set of accounts in a professional accounting firm.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to engage and lift the team to the next level of achievement.
- Experience working with XERO and other accounting software is preferable.
