**The Role**

Our work covers a broad spectrum of science-based fields deploying approaches from Deep Learning, Feature Engineering, Supervised and Unsupervised Learning, Distributed Computing, Natural Language Processing, Frequentist & Bayesian Statistics, Probabilistic Modelling, Signal Processing, Portfolio Optimisation, Ensemble Methods, Network Analysis, Agent-Based Modelling and Swarm Intelligence. You will be part of our AI Research team, developing and implementing research that will contribute towards some element of our AI investment pipeline. Based off of the research you do at Arabesque AI you will aim to publish to conferences or journals.

**Requirements**:

- Have a strong understanding/research experience in one or more of the following: Deep Learning, Feature Engineering, Supervised and Unsupervised Learning, Distributed Computing, Natural Language Processing, Frequentist & Bayesian Statistics, Probabilistic Modelling, Signal Processing, Portfolio Optimisation, Ensemble Methods.
- Strong Python experience.
- Experience in ML frameworks, e.g. PyTorch, Tensorflow.

**Our nice-to-haves**:

- Familiarity with one or more from the following tech stack: Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Computing (Google, AWS, etc), Argo
- Writing clean, well-documented, and scalable code according to best practices
- Familiarity with object store and database systems (Postgres, ElasticSearch, BigQuery, DGraph,...)
- Knowledge of finance and/or professional experience
- Experience with a compiled language (e.g. Go, C/C++, Java)
