**Job Responsibilities
This Senior Consultant role will see you working on a variety of challenging, career-advancing audit / non-audit advisory assignments. You’ll be constantly learning, and your ideas will be welcomed in an atmosphere of innovation, collaboration, and teamwork.
You will be required to deliver complex engagements and will work with senior professionals supporting them with the ongoing development of Tricor Axcelasia’s profile in the marketplace, along with building trusted relationships with clients. In your role you will work closely with management throughout the business, while yourself being responsible for delivering the highest quality work, working closely with our clients in providing an excellent service and coaching junior colleagues.
You will also have the opportunity to work on regional projects, collaborating with Tricor Axcelasia’s colleagues and clients regionally.
This role will focus on:
- Lead the engagement planning prior to fieldwork commencement. This includes the preparation of templates and working papers.
- Lead and perform fieldwork based on agreed Services that have been confirmed with the Client by obtaining, analysing and evaluating relevant records, reports, documentation, data, flowcharts etc.
- Provide guidance to junior team members and review work done based on completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare, draft and review the draft deliverables, including revision comments by Client.
- Manage out-of-pocket expenses and billings and ensure timeliness and accuracy.
- Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
- Assist in developing and innovate new client propositions.
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Flair in charities, strong advocate of climate protection and carbon reduction initiatives.
- Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree.
- At least 3-5 years in wide range of experience and fields from consulting engineering background, medical fields to broadcast journalism.
- Understanding of some key non-financial assurance reporting and assurance standards and frameworks e.g. GRI, TCFD, UNSDGs, SGX Sustainable Reporting Guide, CDP, UK GHG Protocols Reporting, etc.
**Skills Requirements**
- Possess strong command of English with a flair of report writing and sound reporting skills.
- Strong business awareness and a key focus on delivering high quality work.
- Self-starter and take initiatives in discussions and follow ups.
- Strong project management skills and ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
- Critical thinking, high attention to detail and excellent analytic skill.
- Ability to think objectively and demonstrate sound judgement during engagements and to support conclusions reached by management.
- Open-minded, flexible thinking and ability to adapt to change.
- Supportive and cooperative team player, ability to coach junior team members.
- Exceptional client relationship and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Prepared to travel domestically and overseas whenever required.
