The Role
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Partner closely with cross-functional partners to identify and recommend practical tax solutions that supports the business priorities and growth
- Research on tax issues and prepare technical documents on new business initiatives / plans, assist to provide local tax perspective on ad-hoc global projects
- Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure key tax deal terms are consistent with our global tax structure and our global tax position
- Gather data and prepare written responses to support tax positions adopted during audits
- Monitor and review tax legislative developments to assess the relevant implications to Netflix
**Skills and Requirements**:
- 3+ years of corporate tax advisory/consulting experience, in a tax firm and/or in-house.
- Bachelor degree in accounting, taxation or law (or equivalent).
- A great communicator who is fluent in English.
- Curious and enthusiastic, not afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo
- Flexible to collaborate with our colleagues across multiple time zones
- Strong technical knowledge on regional tax, preferably relating to the digital or entertainment sectors.
- Exposure to international tax and basic transfer pricing principles is a plus
